This week’s photo is from a trip to Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. This particular visit was in 2012. What you see in the picture is the ‘rickyard’ where they make charcoal that is used to filter the whiskey. When you approach the area, you can feel a tremendous amount of heat.
