This photo was taken five years ago tomorrow in Lincoln, NE. My wife and I took our kids to Ohio and Indiana to spend a few days with their grandparents, and then drove to Lincoln to see a Pearl Jam concert and the Pinnacle Arena, which is the large arena in this photo. This was taken from our hotel room in Lincoln, and the area between the hotel and the arena is their historic warehouse and depot district, where they have developed a great nightlife atmosphere. Obviously the town was buzzing for a sold out concert, but we were both really impressed with the area downtown, and would stack it right behind Nashville when it comes to nightlife destinations.
